Beautiful piece of Canadian art. Looks fantastic on my house beside another piece...a windswept pine tree.

Nice item. Perfect for our fireplace mounting.

Like the design very much but thought it would have been a more substantial, heavier guage metal. Somewhat flimsy. Light weight for mounting though.

This magnificent piece was designed by accomplished First Nations artist Noel Brown and fabricated in steel or aluminum by BC artist Jack Willoughby. Noel is a member of the Snuneymuxw First Nation on the east coast of Vancouver Island. He began carving professionally in 1995 and received inspiration from James Lewis, a prominent Northwest Coast artist. He has also worked and learned from other talented individuals such as Richard Baker, Matthew Baker and Darin Lewis. Noel is renowned for his Coast Salish Art and clean designs. His art can be found in galleries and private collections around the world. His carvings are on public display at the Nanaimo BC Museum, as well as at the BC Ferries Departure Bay terminal, cruise ship terminal, and other public areas.

This Coast Salish Killer Whale wall sculpture (or Orca as it often referred to) is a stunning Canadian statement piece, available in cold rolled steel or aluminum, and in several sizes.
