Hand Knit in Prince Edward Island

These hand-knit thrummed heart mittens are made using English worsted wool for the exterior and have an ultra warm roving lining. When thrummed mittens are created, the ends of the fleece create little poofy pillows on the inside of the mitten; it's like having a sheepskin lining in your mittens! Over time, the tufts of fleece "felt" inside of the mitten, creating an insulating layer perfectly sized to your hands. Each pair is hand knit in Prince Edward Island and a tag attached with the knitters name. As each pair is individually created, the mittens may not be exactly as shown.
